Common Questions

FAQ — Backflow Repair

What are common reasons a backflow assembly fails?

Common failure causes include worn check valve seats or discs, debris lodged in the valve, a relief valve that opens at the wrong pressure, or general wear from age. Most of these can be addressed with an on-site rebuild during the same appointment.

Can you repair any brand of backflow assembly?

We work with all major brands including Watts, Febco, Wilkins, Ames, and Apollo. We carry rebuild kits for common models. If a part needs to be ordered, we will let you know upfront so there are no surprises.

What if my assembly is too old or damaged to repair?

If the assembly cannot be economically repaired, we will advise you on replacement options and provide a referral for installation. We can return to test the new assembly once it is in place and file the certification.

How quickly can you come out after a failed test?

We aim for same-week availability. If you received a failure notice or failed a test with another company, call or text us at 214-519-4410 and we will get you on the schedule as fast as possible.
